Our shop manager June and her team of volunteers have been working hard for the past two weeks to get our shop on Castle Street ready to re-open to the public tomorrow, 1st July.
The interior has been rearranged to make sure it's a safe environment for staff and customers and all the relevant signage has been put in place, to keep everyone at a safe distance.
June said "It has been quite a challenge bringing the shop up to an acceptable standard. But I am satisfied that we have everything needed to esure the safety of our volunteers and customers."
"The new shop hours will be 10am - 4pm Monday to Saturday. It would be much
appreciated if people who wish to donate items for sale could ring the shop first to discuss with me what they wish to bring in."
"We are also looking for new shop volunteers, who are always welcome - just a few hours a week to suit and it's great retail or work experience."
